Nellie Nthakomwa is a dedicated paralegal and women and child rights advocate with 20 years of experience in the legal field. As the GBV Response Coordinator for the Gender and Justice Unit (GJU), she is committed to supporting survivors of gender-based violence to reclaim their rights and access justice for themselves and their children.
With extensive knowledge in criminal law and community justice, Nellie works closely with law enforcement agencies, communities, and stakeholders to provide paralegal services and promote access to justice. She continues to champion the rights of women, children, and marginalized groups in pursuit of a fair and equitable society.
Nellie’s professional foundation was built through her long-standing experience with the Paralegal Advisory Service Institute (PASI).
