Lynda is a highly accomplished Economist, development specialist, and passionate social justice advocate with 23 years of deep experience in the public sector and non-governmental organizations.

Her commitment to social justice is demonstrated through her leadership roles. She currently acts as Board Chairperson for the Gender Justice Unit (GJU), leveraging over 11 years of high-level board membership experience. She also contributes her governance expertise as Vice-Chairperson of Find Your Feet Malawi and serves as Vice Chairperson on the Chisankho Watch board.

As the Country Program Coordinator for the United States African Development Foundation (USADF) in Malawi since 2014, Lynda brings extensive, direct donor knowledge and program management expertise to every initiative.

Lynda’s distinguished career includes holding management positions with major international partners, including the World Bank-funded Business Environment Strengthening project, the Development Fund of Norway, and the EU-funded Institutional Development Across the Agri-food Sector Programme, among others.

Academically, Lynda holds a Master’s degree in Economic Policy for Developing Economies from Bradford University in the United Kingdom, built upon a foundation of Agricultural Economics from Bunda College of Agriculture, Malawi.
